James A. Warren, CPA
A person's approach to personal finances most often reflects their values, concerns, dreams, and passions. I have been privileged to assist many of our clients through all these heart-felt emotions to develop and execute a plan that truly reflects their personal aspirations.

Jim Warren has served as the Firm’s Managing Director since 1981. Jim has served as President of Warren Averett Wealth Management since its inception in 1999. He provides overall leadership of the organization and chairs the Investment Committee.

He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Aviation Management from Auburn University. He was recipient of the State Board of Public Accounting Merit Award for the highest grade on the Uniform CPA examination in May of 1976. Jim has had a long time fascination with capital formation and investing. Jim is married with a son, a daughter and 6 grandchildren. He and his wife live in Birmingham, AL and attend the Church at Book Hills where he actively participates in various mission trips around the world. Jim also puts his Aviation degree to use while flying his fixed-wing airplane.
